IMMERSIVE VR FOR CONSUMER RESEARCH AND SALES CONVERSION.

Traditional physical consumer testing methods provide valuable insights, but they can be limited by turn around time, logistics, costs, and the challenge of recreating real-world scenarios.

Virtual Reality is a powerful tool to able to bridge these gaps, offering immersive and highly flexible environments where consumer testing can be conducted with greater precision and impact.

Such immersive environments are also an ideal place to conduct internal design and artwork decision making meetings, either in VR, or as highly realistic planograms on traditional screens, to assess shelf presence.

In addition to consumer testing and design reviews VR is increasingly used to improve retailer sell in meetings by demonstrating in-store impact, resulting in an increased uptake and accelerated product launch decision making.

In order to produce realistic environments brands need to display their new produces against existing competitor packs. Having no 3D for such models and faced with the task of representing a vast and ever changing shelf, manual production is too costly and time consuming.

To solve this challenge Arne.Studio produced a custom Unity plugin able to rapidly convert 2D images into 3D light weight textured assets. After 3+ years of application and growth we augmented this offering building a targeted AI engine into the workflow expanding the capability of the tools.
